The task
How to play Focus Track
A few objects are marked as targets, then their markings disappear and the group moves. Keep track of which objects are yours. When motion stops, select those same objects among the distractors.
Follow the initially marked target identities and select them after movement stops.
- Before the movement begins, note every marked target. On standard difficulty there are two targets among six objects.
- Watch the objects while they move. Their target markings disappear, so follow the motion continuously.
- When the scene stops, select exactly the requested number of objects and submit. Review which selected identities were correct.
Phone, mouse and keyboard controls
Observe the moving scene without dragging anything. After it stops, tap or click the target objects. Keyboard players can focus the object selection buttons and activate them with Enter or Space. Answer speed does not change the score.
Press Begin round when you are ready to observe. Keep the game visible during the round. If an interruption requires another observation, the run is labeled Reviewed to distinguish it from an uninterrupted first attempt.
Know what your result means
How the score works
Score = round(100 × correctly selected targets ÷ required targets). Selecting one correct target out of two scores 50; selecting both scores 100. You must choose the requested number of distinct objects before submitting.
A worked example
Objects B and E are marked at the beginning. After motion you choose B and F. B is correct and F is a distractor, so a two-target round scores 50. An object stopping near E’s starting position is not necessarily E.
A score is feedback on this puzzle and these rules. Compare attempts with the same game, difficulty and puzzle conditions; a score from another type measures a different task.

Common mistakes and what to try next
Remembering starting places rather than objects
The target identity moves. Keep updating its location during motion instead of selecting the place where it began.
Watching only one of several targets
For multiple targets, keep the whole group in view and track their relative arrangement. If you repeatedly lose one, use easy practice before returning to two targets.
Clicking while objects are still moving
Observation comes first and selection follows the stop. Keep your hand clear of the moving scene, especially on a phone.
One change at a time
The targeted variation mirrors the motion paths left to right while keeping target identities, object count and duration. It changes the visual route without increasing the number of things to follow.
After a pack, the result suggests a focused variation for your lowest-scoring type. After that variation, retry it or choose a fresh practice pack. A replay is useful for learning, but its score should not be treated as a first unseen attempt.
Focus Track questions
Are target objects marked throughout the round?
No. The markings identify them before motion and then disappear. Following their identities is the challenge.
Does picking targets quickly improve my score?
No. Accuracy determines the score; there is no response-time bonus.
What if I switch browser tabs during the motion?
Keep the game visible for observation. If a round is interrupted, use the offered recovery or replay and treat it as an assisted attempt instead of comparing it with an uninterrupted first observation.
